She is Our Lucky Star

You're probably wondering why I am not devoting my time or page to a more well-known rock star or band, right? Well, the truth is no one has inspired or caught my eye enough for that kind of devotion...

True, there are many talented artists out there who deserve recognition, but they have their own fanatics. I, however, want to show the world how much I love and admire the talented and hard-working woman behind "Northern Star", "Going Down", and such charitable and heartmelting tracks as "If That Were Me" . She has not only reeled us in with her voice, but this woman is also one of the most selfless, caring, honest, and generous people we could ever come across. Think about it....she bought a home for her mother and one of her friends, and always seems to make sure those close to her are provided for. We could not ask for a more humble human being on this Earth, but the world does need more people like her. Just look into her eyes and you will see someone who puts herself out there, makes herself known to the world without demanding attention. Not everyone would have enough guts to flip the birdie at annoying paparazzi photographers, telling them exactly where they can put their cameras! Yet beyond all that...once you really dig deep...you will see an inner beauty that shines like no other. And that, my friends, is our lucky star. The one everyone wishes on and admires from afar, because they don't know how to handle something so perfect.

If ever you wondered who actually gave a rat's behind about starving children, the homeless, people who are unfortunate enough to have to live on the streets, or just the common folks who have nothing more than a roof over their heads and barely enough food in the freezer, look no further than Melanie Jayne Chisholm. For in her eyes is a truly remarkable sparkle that tells you she's gonna be there til the end...or longer.
